Like most Carnival Clubs there is always a story as to how they got together to put their cart on the road, Gorgons Carnival Club I suppose is no different to any of the others, only the way it was born is different. You can read the story on the following pages, it was written by the club secretary Sharon Ford, there you will find out how it all started and how they got the name of Gorgons.
Since its inception in 1973 the Members and the Committees have changed, but the club is strong and survives. The year 2000 will be our 27th year, below is our committee for this year.
